The BVHS urologists provide advanced, innovative care to adults and pediatrics, and they specialize in disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The team uses state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and advanced treatment techniques - robot-assisted technology and many other laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures to manage all urological problems. Blanchard Valley Health System serves over an eight-county area in Northwest Ohio and is a member of Mayo Clinic Care Network.Â

Job Description:

- Group with surgical and robotics expertiseÂ
- Flexible office hours averaging between 20-30 patients/day
- 1.5-2 OR days per week based on surgical volume
- Surgical cases at main hospital, critical access hospital and surgery center
- 24-hour in-house hospitalist service available for ED admissions
- No more than 1:3 call, very light with mostly phone consultations on the off hours
- Office procedures (cystos male/female, vasectomy under local, bladder and prostate biopsies, stent removal, PTNS, CMG, PNEs with Axonics, Bulkamid and Botox injections)
- Equipment (Olympus CV 170 Cysto Towers x 3, with two rigid scopes and two flexible, Phillips Epiq 5 Ultra Sound, UroNav Fusion Biopsy, Urodynamics, UroLift, Nitrous)
- Four da Vinci® Xi™ Surgical Robots with da Vinci® Table Motion
- Establishing prostatectomy and cystectomy programs fed by 6 other providers
- Strong, collegial subspecialty support
- EMR: Cerner
- Accepting residents, new grads, and experienced physicians
- Not accepting visa candidates
- Not accepting Locums providers
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range:Â $500,000 to $600,000/year
