Job Description

CliniCare is looking for a Tele Psychiatrist in St. Louis.  


Schedule Details:

• 8-hour days
• 1-2 Days per week. 
• 12-18 visits per day
• No Weekends
• No Nights
• 100% Geriatric Patients

  Duties:

• Utilize assigned telemedicine software
• Utilize AdvancedMD electronic medical record (EMR) software
• Hold interactive sessions with elderly patients
• Prescribe necessary medications
• Review patients’ medical history
• Advise patients on behavioral health and general wellness practices
• Order additional medical tests to form a better diagnosis if necessary
• Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
• Provides education/consultation to patient, family and health care team
• Obtaining complete medical history and writing reports
• Receive support and assistance with any available patient evaluations from local employed clinical assistant/providers

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• MD/DO Qualifications
• Completion of an Accredited Psychiatric Residency
• Missouri license in good standing - Required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with geriatric community
• You must also be proficient with computers, have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR databases
