Genesis Health System is seeking a Perm Family Care Provider in a rural health clinic located in Aledo, IL, approximately 45 minutes south of the Quad Cities. Up to $150K commencement bonus!
Job Description:
Located near Genesis Medical Center, Aledo, the clinic has a variety of staff and consulting physicians to provide quality health care services for the entire family. This team of medical professionals provides comprehensive general health care, including physical examinations, treatment and monitoring of chronic and acute health problems, as well as injury treatment, for both adults and children.
As the only health center in the county, Genesis Medical Center, Aledo is a 22-bed, critical access hospital that plays a vital role in providing local health care to a diverse population since 1950. It is our mission to provide quality, compassionate care to the community. Job Description:
- Provider must be interested in working in a rural community.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join 2 Physicians, and 6 APP's in a Rural Health Clinic
- Lab and X-ray adjacent to the clinic in the hospital
- Clinic, Hospital, and Long Term Care coverage
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers
- Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview). Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.

Prior to coming to Wapiti, Lisa spent over 21 years in Retail Pharmacy in multiple roles including Manager, CPhT and Compliance Officer. Some of her accolades include Diabetic Lifestyle Coach, Orthotic Shoe Fitter and ACHC Accreditation Specialist. Lisa was also the recipient of Pharmacy Technician of the Year Award by the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
Lisa is a mother of two adult children, Eric and Brooke, whom she is incredibly proud of. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, drawing and painting, traveling both domestically and internationally, cooking, gardening and experiencing new adventures so she can continue to check things off her bucket list.
