Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician to join our Pediatric Hospitalist practice at Meritus Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Hagerstown, MD.


Job Description:

• Responsibilities include covering the 12-bed pediatric floor, pediatric patients in the ED, and the newborn nursery

• Leadership position available to qualified candidates

• Shifts are 24 hours and include in-house coverage from 7:00 am-7:00 pm then out of house coverage from 7:00 pm-7:00 am.

• Meritus has a Level 2 nursery with affiliated Pediatrix neonatologists inhouse 24/7

• Level I trauma center

• Teaching opportunities available through on-site family medicine residency program, and 4-year medical school scheduled to open fall of 2025

• Open to new graduate applicants

• Not accepting Locums applicants

• Pediatrix clears names-system wide.
