Job Description

Munson is looking for a Pediatrician to cover newborn nursery coverage at both Grayling and Gaylord: 

Grayling:  Dec. 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 
Jan.  24, 25, 27,28, 31. 
 
Gaylord:  Dec. 19, 20, 24, 25, 26
Jan. 1, 2, 7,9,10, 23, 24,
 

• 24 call shifts for newborn nursery, 7a-7a
• Clinic located next to hospital
• 6 exams rooms
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Nursery level I -routine newborn care 
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• BC Pediatrics or BE w/in 5 years of residency - Required, no exceptions
• Clean history - Required
• NRP & BLS - Required
• MI license at time or submission - Required
• Providers need to be local-drive in (no flights) - Required
• Provider performs Circumcisions - Required
• Provider participates with MI Medicaid/CHAMPS - Required
• Provider can cover all dates listed - REQUIRED

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified, Board Eligible, NRP
