Job Description




Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a full-time Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Armes Family Cancer Care Center team. Findlay, OH has been ranked #1 Micropolitan in the U.S. ten years and running.
 
Job Description:
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, 3-5 days per week, no weekends or holidays
  • Occasional call based on practice needs
  • Manage daily clinic schedule
  • Assist with acute needs in infusion clinic. Infusion clinic acute needs coverage on rotating basis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for Hematology/Oncology patients
  • Primarily outpatient, ability to do inpatient rounding if experienced
  • 10-15 clinic patients/day
  • Clinical documentation skills required, experience in Cerner preferred
  • Experience with complex decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and see new patients
  • Provider must have special interest in Hematology/Oncology and a commitment to continuous education
  • Hematology/Medical Oncology NP/PA work experience preferred, 2+ years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP/PA work experience required (not including RN or training experience)
  • This is a permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area.  Relocation may be required.  To be discussed at interview.

Submission Requirements
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC) or Physician Assistant
  • OH license (or willing to obtain) 
  • Clean malpractice and license
  • 2+ years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP/PA work experience
  • Hematology/Medical Oncology NP/PA work experience
