Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for Robbinsdale, MN (Locum)
Job Description
North Memorial is looking for a locum Occupational Health NPÂ to start as soon as credentialed.
Â
Nature of Work:Â
- Assessment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Documentation of work injuries and start the workers comp & return to work process.
- Preplacement health assessments & exams
- Signoff on Lab/Radiology orders. (Orders are placed through Agility. Results viewed through Epic)
- DOT Physicals (Must be DOT Certified)
- Support to TMH Staff
- Onsite Required
- EMR – Agility & Epic for orders
- 3 days per week – 8 hour days. (Preference: M,W,TH)Â
- Willing to be Flexible on days depending on need and time of year (example; may need to add extra days for flu shot clinic)
- Estimated need 6-8 months.
- Start date – As soon as possible to assist in transition. Current Provider last day is October 27th.Â
- NP for Occupational Health care.Â
- Experienced in occupational health:
- Must have 5-7yrs Occupational Health experience.Â
- Must be DOT Certified (conducting DOT Physicals)Â
- Infectious Disease/Infection Prevention Experience/KnowledgeÂ
- OSHA Record keeping knowledge.
- workers comp experience/knowledge. Even better is MN specific Workers Comp knowledge.
- Â Healthcare/Hospital Experience over Manufacturing.
- NP specific -Â COHN. (Certified Occupational Health Nurse)
- MD Specific – COEM (Certified Occupational & Environmental Medicine)
- MN licenseÂ

Some of her accolades include Diabetic Lifestyle Coach, Orthotic Shoe Fitter and ACHC Accreditation Specialist. Lisa was also the recipient of Pharmacy Technician of the Year Award by the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
Lisa is a mother of two adult children, Eric and Brooke, whom she is incredibly proud of. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, drawing and painting, traveling both domestically and internationally, cooking, gardening and experiencing new adventures so she can continue to check things off her bucket list.
