Job Description




Blanchard Valley Health System is a regional community non-profit serving an eight-county community in Findlay, NW Ohio that is seeking an OB Hospitalist.
  • Level II Special Care Nursery 32 weeks+, 1000 deliveries/year
  • 24-hour OB care, 7 shifts/block
  • Additional shifts available if interested
  • Scheduled C-sections
  • Consults only for gynecology
  • Non-emergent surgeries as needed, surgical team on-call to assist
  • Facilitate transfers
  • No outpatient clinic coverage
  • Oversight of midwives
  • ED unassigned obstetrics patients
  • 24-hour in-house pediatric hospitalist service
  • One delivering hospital, sleep room on floor
  • Remote attendance for high-risk meetings
  • Integrated EMR with Cerner throughout health system
  • Practice and team dedicated to supporting you
  • Autonomy and input with schedule, volumes and practice operations
  • Time with patients who respect your care
  • Local administration with all decision-making in BV Hospital in Findlay
