Clear Creek OB/GYN is seeking a full-time provider to join their established practice located in Lavonia, Georgia.

Job Description:  
  • The selected candidate will join two knowledgeable and experienced physicians in serving the gynecological and obstetrical needs of the local communities. The practice offers a wide range of preventative, comprehensive gynecological, obstetrical, and surgical services to women of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding physician to join the St. Mary's Health Care System team.
  • Clinic + OB/GYN hospital call
  • Facility has two full-time providers on staff currently
  • 85% low risk pregnancies
  • 15% high risk pregnancies
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the clinic and hospital.
  • EMR: Athena / CPSI
  • Open to H-1B visa candidates
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).  Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.

  • You may invest a percentage of income on a pre-tax basis through Fidelity. Upon employment St. Mary’s matches between 25% and 75% of your contribution up to 6% (Based on years of service). Maximum match is 4.5%. As a new employee you are automatically enrolled at 2% contribution. You will have the choice to opt-out of this. You are fully vested after 3 years of employment.
  • Trinity Health Retirement Savings Plan-Core Contribution
  • Personal Annual Leave (PAL) - Time off with pay for vacations, holidays, personal illnesses or injuries and other personal and family needs. PAL time begins accumulating after four pay periods of employment. New full-time employees earn 7.08 hours per pay period, and new part-time employees earn 3.08 hours per pay period. PAL accrual rate increases with years of service.
  • Tuition Reimbursement:  Assistance in payment for work-related courses, resulting in a diploma or degree. Current reimbursement is $5,000 over employment lifetime with St. Mary’s.

Clear Creek OBGYN is the practice of James Bauerband, MD, Richard White III, MD, and Amy Evans, FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner). Our physicians have extensively combined experience of 49 years in serving the gynecological and obstetrical needs of our local communities. Dr. Bauerband has served for 26 years, and Dr. White has served for 23 years, they are joined by Amy Evans who has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 3 years and is experienced with Emergency Room Medicine and Labor and Delivery.

About the Community:

This historic town is located a few miles from beautiful Lake Hartwell and is home of former Governor Ernest Vandiver. Lavonia is the smallest city in the U.S. with an original Carnegie Library. The Folk Life play, The Land of Spirit Folk is performed each summer and fall by locals and is a reflection of the heritage and culture of the area.
