OB/GYN Physician for Kearney, NE (Locum)
Job Description
Summary: We are looking for an Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide inpatient coverage for gaps we have. Providers should be comfortable with all OB/Gyn procedures. Will be responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the service as well as any consult received during the assignment. Available to go at any time.Â

•24 hour call (to include 4 hours gratis)

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
Services provided on OB/GYN on a 24/7 basis.

Needing Coverage for:
- Wednesday November 27th - Sunday November 30th @ 0700
- Monday, December 23rd - Thursday December 26th @ 0700
- Monday December 30th - Thursday January 1st @ 0700
Â
Facility Location:Â Kearney, Nebraska
Setting: Acute Care inpatient/outpatient hospital. 268 bed regional referral center
Duties:
- Be on-call to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and c-section
- Gynecology call to the emergency department; consultation & treatment as needed

Required Procedures:
- Diagnosis and management of conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum
- Major & minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures upon the female pelvis and related structures

Support Staff:Â Inpatient coverage only- hospital staff

Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc. Â
- Patient volume - 1-5 per day

 Requirements
Board Certification – Board Certified, Board Eligible
State License – NE license required if not a compact state
Residency Requirements - ACGME/AOA accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and GynecologyÂ
Other Certifications – ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP
Malpractice – Clean Preferred
