Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Locum Non Invasive- Cardiologist provider. Details are listed below.
 

Practice Setting:  7 on and 7 off---inpatient coverage 8AM-5PM in the hospital then unrestricted call-5PM-8AM (from hotel)////inpt APP support overnight, but MD takes first call/////non-invasive testing/nuclear stress tests/TEE during the 8A-5P shift
Reason for Coverage: gaps while we recriut-retirement and resignations
Dates of Coverage:  9 mos
Call Schedule: 7on-7off for inpatient coverage 8AM-5PM in the hospital then unrestricted call-5PM-8AM (from hotel)////inpt APP support overnight, but MD takes first call/////non-invasive testing/nuclear stress tests/TEE during the 8A-5P shift
Call Ratio: yes, see above 7on/7off
Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day:  Consults only -- varies significantly-- you have the support of APP and Fellows inhouse- apprx 25-40
Trauma Level/Designation:  Level One
Total Number of Beds:  STF 600 total/// this locum will be covering 25-40 with app and fellow support
Number of ICU Beds:  STF 42 total// this locum will be covering 1-10 with fellow support 
Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group:  12 in total group--noninvasive 7
Will Other Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage?  Yes
Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers? Supervision of APP and Card Fellows
Patient Age Demographic:  Adult and Geriatric
Documentation System/EMR:  Epic 
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: we will push for ASAP but pls expect min 30-60 days for credentialing
Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed

 Procedures Required:  
  • Echocardiography
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography
  • Electrical Cardioversions
  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • Treadmill Stress Tests
  • Chemical Stress Tests
  • Echocardiography
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography
Submission Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible 
  • CT License 
  • ACLS 
  • Local - Preferred
