Job Description

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is looking for a locum Inpatient Neurohospitalist starting July 2023!

• Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 7 on/7off 0700-1900
• Coverage starting on July 19-25 and will rotate every other week through 2023.
• Provider will take call Saturday morning through Monday morning, and are responsible for all stroke alerts 7a - 7p Monday through Friday. Locum will also cover stroke activations during their shift 07-1900.
• Reason for Coverage: vacancy post retirement and open new position
• Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, ED, TSE Stroke
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT:  8-15
• Number of ICU Beds: 18
• Documentation System/EMR:  Epic
• Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital):  Level II and Stroke Comprehensive
• Required Neurology Procedures:  Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps, Lumbar Puncture, Thrombolytic Therapy, EEG, Evoked Potentials, Disability Evaluation, Dysphagia screening.
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Board Certified Neuro - Required
ID license- Required
DEA, CSR, BLS - Required
