Job Description
UCHealth is looking to add 2 additional Locums to their Neuroendovascular team!Â
**Provider must be able to do Open Cerebrovascular and Neuroendovascular coverage**
Open Dates:
- August 4 (7a) - August 8 (7a)Â
- August 15 (7a) - August 21 (7a)
- All of October - December is open
- Ongoing coverage will be 10-11 days per month
- Provider MUST be available to cover the open August dates above.
- Schedule: 24 hour call shifts (7AM - 7AM)
- Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities.Â
- Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.Â
- Heavy surgical emphasis
- Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.Â
- Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
- 100% adult
- 50% trauma
- 100% inpatient
- 0-5 hospital based patients per day
- Support Staff:Â Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
- Surgery volume expected while on call? Average number of patients or hours? This varies at a given time. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab.Â
- EMR: Epic
- ~90 day credentialing timeframe
- Will pay for full travel
- See PD for required procedures
- Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES
- Active CO license or IMLCÂ
- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COVER THE OPEN DATES LISTEDÂ
- ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), DEAÂ
- Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
- Clean background/no malpractice
- Must indicate that the provider is aware and comfortable with a Heavy surgical emphasisÂ
- COVID vaccinatedÂ
