Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital of Richmond is looking for Neurohospitalist coverage! 

Open dates:
  • 11/21 (5PP - 11/27 (5P)
  • 12/19 (5P) - 12/25 (5P)
  • SITE IS LOOKING FOR 24hr call rate to include 8 hours gratis (min.)
Job Details:
Practice Setting Inpatient neuro consult service.  No code stroke response, neuro emergencies handled via teleneurology.
This role would involve consults and rounding. They have 24 hours to see consults, and then there are follow-ups as well. 
Reason for Coverage: MD resignation
Dates of Coverage: Starting in 2025
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, ED, Medicine
One APP available M-F
No Other Neurohospitalists be Present During Locum's Coverage
Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT:  15
No Response to In-House Codes
Areas of Rounding – 6, ED, ICU
 Locum NOT Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Submission Requirements
  • Board Certified 
  • Active VA State License & DEA 
  • ACLS/ BLS

We provide exceptional care for newborns and infants, including a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staffed with onsite neonatologists 24 hours a day.

St. Mary's also provides exceptional care to children. Its comprehensive pediatric services include a dedicated pediatric emergency department, an inpatient pediatric unit with onsite Pediatric Hospitalists 24-hours a day, a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) with onsite Pediatric Intensivists 24-hours a day, as well as a variety of pediatric subspecialty services. St. Mary's diverse, highly trained and dedicated staff of pediatric professionals delivers pediatric care in a wide range of specialties including allergy and immunology, cardiology, ENT, general surgery, neurology, pulmonology, endocrinology, orthopedics and urology.
 
St. Mary's also has a fully staffed Cleft and Craniofacial Team to provide all aspects of care to children with cleft lip or palate as well as complex congenital skull abnormalities.
