Job Description
Join a practice in the largest, most comprehensive children’s hospital in the state! Seeking additional Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologists to join our practice at Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. The group is looking for additional team members whose professional commitment is to provide the highest level of care, in addition to being a part of a collaborative group. Â
Job Description:
- The hospital has a 72-bed, Level-III NICU with an ADC of 60.
- Services include neonatal ECMO, iNO, high frequency ventilation, (jet and oscillators) and total body cooling.
- There is an active transport program, a dedicated resuscitation team and full pediatric subspecialty and surgical support.
- Our affiliated pediatric intensivists cover the PICU/CVICU, our hospitalists cover the pediatric floor and our pediatric ER physicians cover the pediatric ER.
- The practice has a busy cardiovascular surgery program, as well as general surgery and high volume ELBWs.
- Resident teaching opportunities are available.
- The group values team-work and holds high expectations for shared clinical practice guidelines to provide continuity to the infants and their families.

- A specialized neonatal and pediatric transport team to safely transport children to a waiting team of experts.
- The state’s largest, most comprehensive Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to treat patients needing a higher level of care.
- A dedicated pediatric pharmacy with specially trained pediatric pharmacists and technicians.
- A heart program so comprehensive we are the only hospital in Nevada with the ability to perform pediatric open heart surgery.
- A Labor & Delivery Unit that provides safe, advanced care for the most routine to the most complex deliveries.
