Summary:Â Â Looking for an interventional cardiologist to assist in June ongoing with hospital rounds, STEMI call and procedures(Heart caths and TEE) at Nebraska Heart Hospital only during the week and NHH and St. Elizabeth's on weekends.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
May 22 @ 7am (or May 23 @ 7am) through 7am on May 27

Facility Location:Â Nebraska Heart Hospital
Setting:Â Specialty Hospital
FTE:Â PRN
Duties: Responsibilities would be rounding at Nebraska Heart Hospital during the week and rounding at NHH and St. Elizabeth's on the weekend. Occassional clinic if needed. Night call would be Monday and Tuesday nights  off night call on Wednesday and Thursday nights and then night call Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  An APP will assist with rounds and admits at the hosptial. Occassional nigh APP help is available.
Required Procedures:Â Heart catheterizations with stenting, TEEs
EMR:Â EPIC
Support Staff:Â APP on both night and day coverage (occassional nights with no APP help)
Reason for Coverage:Â Loss of an interventional cardiologist. Decrease call burden for current cardiologists

Case volumes per day or patients per day? Would be responsible for same day add ons (mainly inpatients) Average number would be 3

What is the shift structure/Job description?
Monday thru Friday inpatient Rounds at Nebraska Heart Hospital -Â
· Average Census 15-20
· APP and Hospitalist assistance
· Perform add on cath procedures, mainly inpatients, with an average of 3/day
· Saturday and Sunday inpatient Rounds at NHH and St. Elizabeth's
· Average Census NHH 15-20
· Average Census St. Elizabeth's 12
· APP and Hospitalist Assistance
Call Responsibilities
· STEMI call 7 days and 5 nights out of the week
Monday thru Thursday 5p-7a General Cardiology call with the APP taking 1st call
Saturday and Sunday General Cardiology call with APP taking 1st call and STEMI Call

Submission Requirements
Board Certification – Board Certified
NE License – or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
Malpractice – Clean Preferred
Availability– Required
