SUN Behavioral Health Delaware is looking for an Inpatient Psychiatrist to work days (no call, no weekends) in historic Georgetown, DE.
Job Description:
SUN Delaware is a 90-bed psychiatric hospital located in Sussex County. The hospital provides a full continuum of specialized care, including inpatient and day hospital services, for those suffering from mental health illness and substance use disorders. SUN Delaware offers specialized programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. It opened in 2018.
The mission of SUN Behavioral Health is to partner with communities to solve the unmet needs of those who suffer from mental illness and substance use disorders.

Job Description:
- Monday-Friday, day shift schedule
- No weekends, no call
- Reason for coverage: replacement
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 18
- Total Number of Beds: 99
- How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 2
- How Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group? 3
- How Many Psychologists? 0
- Required Treatment Disorders: anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders
- Must have familiarity with involuntary commitments, pharmacotherapy
- Credentialing timeframe: 6 weeks
- EMR: Wellsky
- Compensation to be discussed at interview.

Lisa joined Wapiti Medical Staffing as a Recruiter in February 2022. Prior to coming to Wapiti, Lisa spent over 21 years in Retail Pharmacy in multiple roles including Manager, CPhT and Compliance Officer. Some of her accolades include Diabetic Lifestyle Coach, Orthotic Shoe Fitter and ACHC Accreditation Specialist. Lisa was also the recipient of Pharmacy Technician of the Year Award by the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
Lisa is a mother of two adult children, Eric and Brooke, whom she is incredibly proud of. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, drawing and painting, traveling both domestically and internationally, cooking, gardening and experiencing new adventures so she can continue to check things off her bucket list.
