St. Peter's Cancer Care Center needs a Locum to Perm Hematology/Oncology provider starting as soon as credentialed!
Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Reason for Coverage: Coverage while we recruit for full-time Oncologists
- Dates of Coverage: asap upon credentialing
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult
- Number of Physicians in Practice: 3
- Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes we have 4 full-time Radiation Oncologists
- How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 5 full-time APs
- Clinical Area: Hematology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting, Hematology - Inpatient Setting
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Community Hospital
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Facility will reimburse for the following costs: Flight, Hotel, Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month
- Board Certified
- ACLS
- NY State License

Their seamless communication is key to timely care. Additional providers may include nutritionists, pain management specialists and rehabilitation therapists.
- Community involvement: We strive to improve the health of the communities we serve. Regular screening helps find cancer in its earliest stages, when it's easiest to treat. Our Cancer Services Program offers free cancer screenings to uninsured and underinsured people in Albany, Troy and the surrounding areas.

Prior to coming to Wapiti, Lisa spent over 21 years in Retail Pharmacy in multiple roles including Manager, CPhT and Compliance Officer. Some of her accolades include Diabetic Lifestyle Coach, Orthotic Shoe Fitter and ACHC Accreditation Specialist. Lisa was also the recipient of Pharmacy Technician of the Year Award by the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
Lisa is a mother of two adult children, Eric and Brooke, whom she is incredibly proud of. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, drawing and painting, traveling both domestically and internationally, cooking, gardening and experiencing new adventures so she can continue to check things off her bucket list.
