MercyOne North Iowa is looking for a Perm Hem/Onc provider to join their team!



Shift(s) Description:

• Monday-Friday 8-9 hour days
• Call rotation: 1/4

Details:

• Practice Setting: primarily outpatient, very minimal inpatient
• Adult & Geriatric patients
• 50% Hem / 50% Onc
• 2 radiation oncologists in practice
• 4 APPs in practice
• 12-16 patients per day
• Level III trauma
• EMR: Mosaiq
• Required procedures: Management of VAD/CV Catheters & Intrathecal chemo
• Required duties: participation on a Tumor Board, order tests, order images, prescribes
• Nurse administers chemo according to the orders from the physician
• Credentialing timeframe: ~ 3 months

Highly Competitive Compensation/Benefits:

• Base salary: $454,329/year (50th percentile)
• Either education loan assistance up to $150K ($30k/year spread out over 5 years); + $50k sign-on OR if no educational loan assistance, then sign on of $100K (forgiven after 5 years)

• Board Certified or Eligible - Hem/Onc or IM with subspecialty cert in Hem/Onc (Must be ABIM or AOBIM) - REQUIRED
• BLS - REQUIRED
• Iowa license, will also accept licensing in-process candidates - REQUIRED
