Gastroenterologist Physician in Clive, IA(Locum to Perm)
Job Description
- Monday-Friday (7:30am-4pm)
- No call
- July start - 6 month assignment
- Outpatient hospital
- Reason for coverage: high demand for scopes and behind on scheduling - needing extra help
- Patient demographic: Adults in the endoscopy suite
- Lab onsite
- X-ray onsite
- 12-14 patients per day
- EMR: Allscripts
- EIther ACLS, APLS, PALS, NALS, or ATLS cert is required because this role needs moderate sedation privileges for scoping and CPR certification is required to obtain moderate sedation privileges
- Required procedures listed in attached practice description
- 60 day credentialing timeframe
- Lodging choices must be approved in advance before booking
- Board Certified or Eligible -Â required
- Must be interested in Locum to Perm
- Active IA license or IMLC in hand -Â required
- Must have an active life support in order to obtain moderate sedation privileges -Â required
- Must be available full time for a 6 month assignment -Â required
- Clean background/malpractice -Â required
- Covid vaccinated
- ACLS
- ATLS
- Board Certified
- Board Eligible
- NALS
- PALS
- Iowa
