Mitchell County Regional Health Center – an affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa – has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an existing practice located in Osage, Iowa.

Job Description:
  • The selected candidate will join a busy practice with three Family Medicine physicians and four non-physician providers.
  • Hospital-employed practice opportunity for a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician
  • Three-physician Family Medicine Clinic with 25,000 annual visits
  • Admit to Mitchell County Regional Health Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital with annual admissions of 600; ED volumes of 4,000.
  • Specialty clinics in Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Otolaryngology.
  • Services available include General Surgery, pulmonary and sports rehab, speech therapy, PT, OT, medical nutrition therapy, bone densitometry, CT, mobile MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, vascular screening.

  • Telemedicine, teleradiology, electronic medical records – part of 9-hospital, 42- clinic MercyOne Health Network-North Iowa – first rural network in nation to implement EMR
  • Provider must have above average communication skills and the ability to work with a team.
