Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) - Palo Alto County Hospital is a modern 25 bed licensed critical access hospital. The hospital has been located at its present facility since 1965 but has a rich history of caring for the medical needs of residents in various locations dating back to 1921. The hospital includes a wide range of diagnostic, rehabilitation, and medical care that include inpatient and outpatient surgery, acute and intermediate care (swing bed), therapy services (including Cardiac, Pulmonary, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Obstetrics, Home Health, Hospice, County Ambulance Services, and Emergency Services.

Job Description:
- Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start).
- Must be able to perform C-sections

- Full Spectrum Family Medicine with Obstetrics and C-Section
- The selected candidate will work in a modern medical facility and have an opportunity to perform Obstetrics and C-section as well as work Emergency Department shifts. This opportunity offers an excellent work/life balance.

- 67 annual admissions, 114 births, 22,126 outpatient visits, 5,258 specialty clinic visits and primary care clinic visits of 34,636
- Lab, X-Ray, ER, pharmacy, and behavioral health services on site
- Outreach specialists from MercyOne North Iowa- General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Urology, Ortho Surgery, Dermatology, Otolaryngology, Audiology, Wound, Ophthalmology
- Palo Alto County Health System is aggressively pursuing market share to ensure a thriving Family Practice/OB practice. Two surrounding counties do not offer OB services and Palo Alto County Health System would like to support them.
