OVP is a family-owned physician group practice company focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians. The City of Gallipolis is located on the Ohio River in Gallia County. Gallipolis lies 40 miles upriver from Huntington, West Virginia, 58 miles northwest of Charleston, West Virginia, 50 miles west of Marietta, 109 miles southeast of Columbus, and 156 miles east of Cincinnati.
Population for Gallipolis for the 2010 census was 3,641 persons. In 2005-2009 there were 1,800 households in Gallipolis. The average household size was 2.1 people.
