Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a perm ER Physician for Roseau MN

ER Physician Roseau, MN  (perm)
Order Details:

• Type: Perm
• Position: MD/DO
• Role: ER Only with Tuck-In orders 10P-8A  seven days/week
• Annual volume: 2022 ER & CC Combined - 8,753
• 2021 ER 6,405, CC 1,706
• Second Coverage: Convenience Care covered by APP 5P-8P M-F Sat/Sun 9A-5P- 
• Shift options: Facility prefers 12Hr but would consider 24HR
• EMR: EPIC
• Trauma level 4
• 26 Bed Critical Access Hospital

Candidate Requirements:

• State License: MN
• DEA/CSR required? DEA
• Covid/Flu Vaccination Requirements: Not required
• BC/BE – Prefers Boarded, will entertain non-boarded
• Boards: All boards including “American Board of Physician Specialties ABPS (Specialty boards)
• Residents: Will accept New Grads
• Life Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS (ABEM waived),  Stroke Required
• Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Yes
• Procedures logs needed or past amount of experience required and in what timeframe: Not Requested
• Other qualifications needed: N/A

• Current Staffing/Needs/ # of hours/shifts: 12 Hr shifts 3-4 shifts a week, looking at 3 shifts one week and then four the next.

Transfers go to Altru in Grand Forks, ND and stroke to Sandford in Fargo, ND, Transfers are by Air Ambulance or Ground Ambulance.
Facility has General Radiology, CT Scan, Ultrasound M-F 8A-5P and does not have an ICU, it has a Special Care Unit.
At the present time the facility has App's as second coverage for the convenience care Sat/Sun 9A-5P and 5P-8P M-F
The facility works with the Sanford Stroke Network
