Submission Requirements
a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season
b. Covid documentation - If 24-25 booster has not been received a declination is needed
c. TB - 2 step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months
d. TB QuestionnaireÂ
e. Hep B - titer with quantifiable numbers or declinationÂ
f. MMR - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers
g. Varicella -Â vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers
h. TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years) About the Facility McLaren offers a Level I newborn nursery with 24/7 on-call Neonatology coverage and Level II maternity care. Operate with a cohesive surgical team in the inpatient OR and a convenient outpatient surgery center. McLaren has state-of-the-art surgical equipment including two DaVinci Surgical Systems.Â
The Family BirthPlace at McLaren includes 13 home-like maternity suites for labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care. Academic affiliation with Michigan State University offers teaching component with Family Medicine Residency program.
McLaren Flint is a 378-bed tertiary teaching facility located in Flint, Michigan. McLaren Flint is affiliated with Michigan State University (MSU) College of Human Medicine in its medical and surgical residency programs, including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery. McLaren Flint also maintains fellowship programs in clinical health psychology and vascular surgery. The hospital is certified as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, a Comprehensive Stroke Center (Joint Commission), and a BCBSM Blue Distinction Center+ for Hip and Knee Replacement and Spine Surgery. Cancer accreditations include American College of Radiology Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation and the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative, American Society of Clinical Oncology. McLaren Flint is also the region’s leader in cardiovascular services, offering more types of surgeries and procedures than any other area hospital.Â

- Must have clean background for quick credentialing
