Job Description
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is looking for a locum Inpatient Neurohospitalist starting July 2023!
ID license- Required
DEA, CSR, BLS - Required
**Must have COVID vaccine in order to work at this facility - Required** CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 7 on/7off 0700-1900
- Coverage starting on July 19-25 and will rotate every other week through 2023.
- Provider will take call Saturday morning through Monday morning, and are responsible for all stroke alerts 7a - 7p Monday through Friday. Locum will also cover stroke activations during their shift 07-1900.
- Reason for Coverage: vacancy post retirement and open new position
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, ED, TSE Stroke
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 8-15
- Number of ICU Beds: 18
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level II and Stroke Comprehensive
- Required Neurology Procedures: Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps, Lumbar Puncture, Thrombolytic Therapy, EEG, Evoked Potentials, Disability Evaluation, Dysphagia screening.
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
