CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Pediatrix Surgery of Houston is a child-centered pediatric surgery practice located on The Woman’s Hospital of Texas campus in the Texas Medical Center.
We are proud to provide a coordinated and individualized plan of care for each patient’s unique diagnosis. Our surgeons work together with our hospital partners and additional pediatric subspecialists to provide a multidisciplinary approach from a team offering expertise and experience in providing care for children with common or complex conditions requiring surgery.
We understand receiving news that your child needs surgery can be frightening. Our specialists partner with the patients and their families entrusted to our team, provide exceptional patient care and strive to achieve the best possible outcome. Growing pediatric surgery practice seeking additional experienced, Board Certified Pediatric Surgeons to join our expanding practice covering the Houston, TX metro area.
Job Description:
- Team of four experienced Pediatric Surgeons and five Physician Assistants work in conjunction with Pediatric Anesthesiologists to perform procedures at The Woman's Hospital of Texas and HCA Healthcare Clear Lake, along with surrounding ASCs.  We are expanding our team to include coverage at and HCA Healthcare Kingwood.Â
- Services include the full spectrum of pediatric surgical conditions including, but not limited to:
- Neonatal Surgeries, including high-risk newborn and birth defects, and ECMO
- Advanced laparoscopic and Thoracoscopic procedures
- Circumcisions
- Gastrostomy tubes and surgery for Gastroesophageal Reflux
- Inguinal Hernias, Umbilical Hernias and other abdominal wall defects
- Masses and tumors
- Pilonidal Cysts
