Job Description
ER/Clinic Medical Director Physician (perm) for Wayne, NE
- Order Description:
- Type (Guaranteed or, locum or perm): Perm May consider Locum to Perm but it is not their first choice of options. Would have to go through interview process to make that decision.
- Position (For example MD/DO or NP, PA, CRNA): MD/DO
- Role (For example ER or ER+IP): ER/Clinic Medical director and student/employee health clinic will also supervise APP
- Annual volume (& daily volume), (If applicable): 2473 annual ED; estimated 2520 clinic visits per year
- Any second coverage): no In discussions with local physicians about back up coverage for APPs
- Shift options (for example 10-, 12-, 24 hr shifts): Requesting 10-15 hours of admin, 5 24 hour shifts per month in ED 7A-7P and 9 clinic shifts of 4 hours each day. M,W,F 9A-1P and T,T 1P-5P If in ER will do IP admits and night time call. This is still very fluid….

- Trauma level: IV
- Candidate Requirements:
- State License(s) accepted: NE
- DEA/CSR required?: Yes
- Covid/Flu Vaccination Requirements:- Previously yes – seeing if this can be amended Not required
- BC/BE – will site accept non-boarded? Under what conditions: BC
- What boards are accepted? ( EM, IM, FP) note if site accepts specialty board (ABPS) or not? FP or EM, If board certified in IM will need peds, EM (Prefers FP since they will be doing clinic as well. Eventually will have Urgent Care Clinic under them.
- Residents –Y/N and what are the details? Not for Medical Director role (prefers experience) Open to new grads, depending on experience and training.
- Life Certifications needed (ATLS/CALS, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP, ALSO, etc.), is ATLS waived if ABEM: NO, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Y/N - ? No
- Procedures logs needed or past amount of experience required and in what timeframe ( Ex: 2 years, 500 hrs): ? 2 years ED experience, Medical Director experience preferred.
- Other qualifications needed: ? No
- Current Staffing/Needs/ # of hours/shifts: Need for full time provider In ER and Clinic.

Presley and her husband, Adam, have two daughters, Lainey and Saylor, as well as one son, Jett. The family would not be complete without a golden retriever, Marvin. In her spare time, Presley enjoys the outdoors, sports, and spending time with family.
