Job Description
MercyOne Medical Center in Mason City IA is looking to add 2 Locum CRNA's to the team for Jan 2024 - ongoing coverage.
Schedule: (M,W, F: 6:45am - 3:15pm and T, TH: 7:15am - 3:45pm) - CRNAs will be required to stay late when needed a few times a week.
Cerner & paper charting
Level III
The really sick peds and truly complicated trauma is almost always shipped out
There is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma they dont think they can handle
Types of cases: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro,
Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds. MercyOne is a Level 3 trauma center, so really complex cases are stabilized then sent to a tertiary center.
Submission Requirements
• NBCRNA - Required
• BLS & ACLS - Required
• IA License or IMLC - Required
• DEA and CSR - Required
• Clean record/license needed for quick credentialing - Required
• Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccine - RequiredÂ
Certification Requirements
• ACLS
• BLS
• Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
• DEA
• NBCRNA
State License Requirements
• Iowa

MercyOne North Iowa is the largest provider of health care services in the region, and they are proudly the largest employer in Cerro Gordo County. Their hospital is a private, not-for-profit health care center, licensed for 346 beds, which serves more than 400,000 inpatients and outpatients each year. In addition, MercyOne North Iowa is a teaching institution. They conduct a Family Medicine Residency, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, and a School of Radiologic Technology. MercyOne North Iowa is a clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.
