Job Description:
Since 1997, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center®, a 485-bed, Joint Commission-accredited facility, has delivered quality healthcare to Summerlin and the Las Vegas area. Located in a premier master-planned community, it is one of southern Nevada's most comprehensive hospitals, offering specialty services such as The Heart Center, The Robotic Surgery Center, The Birthplace, The Children’s Medical Center, The Cancer Center, and The Breast Care Center. The hospital is also accredited as a Primary Heart Attack and Stroke Center for rapid diagnosis and treatment.
In addition to inpatient care, Summerlin Hospital provides extensive outpatient services, including cardiac rehabilitation, adult and pediatric therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy at its wound healing center, and various laboratory, radiology, and surgical services. As part of The Valley Health System®, it is connected to a broader network of hospitals, emergency departments, and outpatient facilities serving Southern Nevada and the surrounding areas.

Job Description:
- Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs in the Las Vegas suburbs.Â
- 24-hour shifts + in-house on call
- Full-time opening at 7.5 shifts/month (2160 hours)
- NNPs are there for support
- We provide services at four area hospitals with a combined total of approximately 1,700 annual admissions and more than 10,000 births per year Providers rotate among the 4 locations. Will spend 1 month at each location before rotating to the next.
- Summerlin Hospital has a 52-bed, Level-III NICU
- Spring Valley Hospital has a 28-bed, Level-III NICU
- Centennial Hills Hospital has a 28-bed, Level-III NICU
- Henderson Hospital has a 32-bed, Level-III NICU - Our services include iNO and high-frequency ventilation (jet and oscillators) and total body cooling
- There is an active transport program in place, and we enjoy full perinatal and pediatric subspecialty and surgical support (with the exception of open heart surgery)
- Robust CQI and clinical research programs
- This is a full-time, permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.
- Open to experienced providers and new graduate candidates through 2025 - TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board CertificationÂ
- Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again
