Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, one of the largest health systems in the Delaware Valley, has an excellent full time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologist to join our employed medical group and practice located on the Fitzgerald Campus of Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania.

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital located in Darby, PA is a 188-bed acute care community teaching hospital that has been serving a large number of economically fragile neighborhoods in Delaware County and Southwest Philadelphia for 85 years. In 2018, the hospital admitted 7,819 patients, cared for 40,473 people in the Emergency Department, and saw 149,884 outpatient registrations.
Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is home to comprehensive heart and vascular care, cancer care, bariatrics, orthopedics and ambulatory services, advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology, gastroenterology services including a heartburn clinic, an endoscopy center, a sleep center, orthopedics, wound care, behavioral health services, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and physical and occupational therapy.

Job Description:
- ASAP
- Weeknight call: 5 pm-8 am
- Weekend Call: 24 hour coverage Sat/Sun (Fri 5 pm - Mon 8 am)
- EMR: Athena/Meditech
- 90 day credentialing timeframe
- Must be trained in robotics - must be comfortable with Xi and Hysterectomies.  Trained in minimally invasive GYN Surgical procedures (or willing to learn).
- Highlights of this opportunity include ED and hospital consult service, a surgical practice and the selected candidate will provide leadership and collaboration with the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
- The schedule for this outpatient practice is Monday – Friday and call coverage includes practice and ED.
- The ideal candidate is engaging, personable and patient-centered, skilled with advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical techniques and excited about the opportunity to renew and build a Gynecology practice with an established organization set up for success. Â
