Job Description

MercyOne Siouxland is looking for TWO Perm CRNAs to join their team starting in December 2023!  The right candidates will join a team of experienced anesthesiologists and CRNA's.

Job Description:
  • Under limited supervision, performs clinical CRNA duties under the direction and supervision of the department medical director, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other attending physicians.
  • CRNA’s will maintain professional credentials, clinical knowledge and skills, and physical status capable of delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to all patients treated by Mercy Medical Services.  
  • The quality of anesthesia will be no less than that considered to be the standard of care by the ASA and AANA.  
  • Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence Guiding Behaviors and the philosophy and mission of Mercy in all aspects of job performance.
  • Hospital-based
  • Reason for coverage: staffing changes
  • CRNA will be working with limited supervision
  • Average # of surgical cases per day: approximately 15+ out of the department (endo, cath lab, radiology, etc)
  • Trauma level 2
  • OR staffed 24/7 with RN and CST
  • 11 operating rooms
  • Adult demographic
  • Cardiothoracic experience is preferred, but will train (including PICC lines)
  • EMR: Cerner
